The places we offer

From September 2025 we will offer children:

We don't have any places for children under 2.

How to apply

Fill in the free online application form. Do this after your child is born and when you have given them  a name. We add them to the waiting list of the school you have selected.

Doing this gets it done, but it doesn't move you up the list. We decide who gets a place in the same way that primary and secondary schools do. Find out Who gets a place and what happens next.

When children start:

Most children leave our schools in July, to go to primary school.

Most children start our schools in September, to fill the gaps. They start the September after they are 2 or 3.

Just before Easter, we email everyone on the waiting list. We ask what hours you need. We then work out who can start the next September.

Visiting our schools

Come to our free stay and play sessions. We call them 'Visiting Day'. You will get to know all about our schools.

Families who can't come to a Visiting Day, please call or email us. Find our phone numbers on our Contact us page. We will arrange to give you a short visit round the building. We will do our best to answer your questions. The visit might be quick if we are teaching ....

We offer adults and young people:

  • placements for students training for a few Early Years qualifications. These include School Direct and PGCE teacher training, BTEC, NVQ and CACHE
  • work experience for school students from Waltham Forest secondary schools and sixth form colleges
  • volunteer placements for parents and members of the local community

The Students and work experience page explains how to apply for work experience.

The Volunteers page explains how to become a volunteer.

Safe recruiting

Everyone who works in our schools goes through an induction process. This includes safeguarding, health and safety, behaviour management and school operations. All staff, students, governors and regular volunteers are DBS checked. Read what that means on the DBS pages of the government website
